Broadwindsor Church of England V.C. Primary School is a Christian school which aims to offer the very best learning environment and promote high levels of self-esteem and a lifelong love of learning within an active Christian environment.

At Broadwindsor School we seek to create a happy, family atmosphere within a Christian environment where each adult and child feels secure and has a sense of purpose and responsibility.

Christian values are part of every aspect of our school curriculum and daily life and are reflected throughout our ethos, aim and objectives.

Pupils want to do their best.

Pupils are friendly, cheerful and loyal to their school.

 Teachers possess good subject knowldege.

Teachers set clear targets for pupils so that they know what they are expected to achieve.

Pupils of different abilities, including those with special needs, confidently answer questions and share ideas.

What parents say about us (Parent Questionnaire June 2019) ~

"We love the Christian ethos and the morals and values which teach the children a good grounding for social development."

“You are all doing an amazing job - well done!"

"I would very much recommend the school and the environment for any parent starting in the following year, great work guys"

"I like the creative approach to teaching/the fun approach to topics."

"The homework set this year has been very clear and a great way for my child to enjoy her work"

"I think the Friday assemblies have been brilliant, also the parent-mails we receive have meant we have been kept up to date with all relevant information and things/activities we can get involved with"

"It is the additional learning outside of teaching, ie. sports, that I admire most about this school."

"Fantastic encouragement of reading with innovative ways to get children reading more at home. The PTA do an amazing job at fundraising. Fun ideas and always with a smile!"

"My child has enjoyed all of her learning this year. Being challenged, learning new things, moving up through reading stages and after school clubs"

"My child very much enjoyed the swim gala (even though before it happened she felt it was too scary to do!)
This gave her a wonderful life lesson that challenges can give the greatest rewards"

"Thank you Broadwindsor School - we couldn't ask for more"
