Uniform

Affordable and Accessible School Uniform

Our school is committed to ensuring that the uniform required for pupils is affordable and represents good value for money for families, in line with Department for Education (DfE) guidance on the cost of school uniform. See attached link for further information: Guidance

Why School Uniform Matters

We believe that wearing school uniform promotes equality, fosters a sense of belonging, enhances the school's positive image, and helps build pupils' confidence and self-esteem. Parents and carers are therefore expected to ensure that children attend school in the correct uniform.

Everyday School Uniform

  • Green school cardigan or sweatshirt
  • White polo shirt or white shirt
  • Grey skirt, pinafore or trousers
  • Green and white checked summer dress
  • White or grey socks/tights
  • Sensible school shoes (trainers are not permitted except for PE)
  • Jewellery should not be worn; however, small stud earrings are permitted

Purchasing School Uniform

We hold a limited supply of sweatshirts, cardigans, reversible coats, book bags and backpacks in the school office. Please ask for available sizes and prices. Alternatively, parents can purchase items online via the link below:

Uniform orders will be delivered direct to your home with a small P&P charge. All items of uniform have the school logo embroidered on the front.

Alternatively, plain jumpers, sweatshirts and cardigans from any retailer which match the school green colour, can also be worn.

Second-Hand Uniform

A selection of second-hand uniform is available through the school, and the PTFA regularly organises uniform sales. These items are available for a small voluntary donation, providing an affordable and sustainable option for families.

Footwear and Outerwear

Trainers should be worn for PE only and solid shoes worn during the winter months. Summer sandals should have an enclosed front and socks should be worn for added protection. Children will need a warm coat during the winter months.

Physical Education (PE) Kit

The school believes that the wearing of an agreed and appropriate PE Kit promotes equality and a positive image of the school, which helps build pupils’ self-esteem and helps to keep children safe. Make sure that all items of clothing and footwear are clearly marked with your child’s name and surname.  PE kit is permitted to be worn to school on designated days with the school jumper/sweatshirt.

  • Football boots and shin pads may be required in Year 3 and above. (The school does have a collection of spares)
  • Plain white T-shirt
  • Black shorts
  • Black jogging trousers
  • Plimsolls or Trainers

Forest School Clothing

For Forest School pupils will need to wear the following:

  • Plain black long-sleeved top
  • Plain black jogging trousers
  • Footwear that covers the ankles ie: Walking boots, Wellington boots.
  • Waterproof trousers, gloves and hats - weather dependant

Art and Creative Activities

Children will also require an old shirt or T-shirt to protect their clothing during art activities. The school is usually able to provide these; however, donations of clean unwanted shirts or T-shirts are always appreciated.
